Music Reflection # 12

September, 3rd, 2009

Today in music class, we learned the C major scale, D major scale, and the G major scale. We also learned the C7, D7, and the G7. Mr. Herry explained to us about the formula of Major '1-1-1/2-1-1-1-1/2'. We also had a surprise quiz. At last, Mr.Harry's brother Mr.Rudi played trumpet and the french horn. We were able to listen to an unique instrumental sound.

I had hard times in understanding the major scale and the 7s. But I understood at last by the teacher's explanation. However, the quiz was very challenging and was hard for me to do. I enjoyed listening to Mr. Rudi's performace and from next on, I also would like to hear some more unique sounds.
